Castilla La-Mancha returns to the Miami Wine Fair with over 1,000 sqft of exhibit space.
IPEX,
the official trade body in charge of promoting exports from Castilla
La-Mancha (Spain), confirmed today their reservation to participate in
the 5th Annual Miami International Wine Fair with three diamond
pavilions. La Mancha’s wines have experienced a remarkable surge in
quality and sales over the last 10 years thanks to massive investments
in technology, human resources and research that have turned the
largest wine producing region on earth into one of the world’s finest.
IPEX’s investment in the Miami International Wine Fair is a clear
reflection of the increasing demand for premium Spanish wines in South
Florida and around the country.
The Red Cross: main beneficiary of this year’s Grand Tasting.
The
American Red Cross, Greater Miami and the Keys and Global Event
Management, LLC, organizers of the Miami International Wine Fair and
the Florida International Wine Challenge, have agreed to join efforts
to support the many humanitarian endeavors carried out every year by
the Red Cross in Miami, including emergency relief initiatives that
became essential for the region during last year’s disastrous hurricane
season. “We are very proud and delighted to have this opportunity to
serve our community by raising funds for the Red Cross while
simultaneously celebrating Miami’s passion for fine wines.” Said David
Bernad, general manager of the Miami International Wine Fair. “We are
extremely excited and grateful to Global Event Management for choosing
the Red Cross as the main beneficiary of this year’s Wine Fair. We look
forward to working together in this effort to help our neighbors when
they need us most.” Added Sam Tidwell, Chief Executive Officer, for the
American Red Cross, Greater Miami and the Keys. 33% of all Grand
Tasting ticket sales will be donated to the local chapter of the
American Red Cross.
